Welcome

These Terms govern your use of ScholarMind, including the website and mobile apps. By creating an account or using ScholarMind you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

ScholarMind is an AI-assisted study app built and operated by UnityBridge Software, Louisiana, USA.

2. Who can use ScholarMind

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScholarMind. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ScholarMind only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, files, photos, recordings and other content you upload. You give us a limited license to store, process (including with AI services) and display that content to operate the features you use, and to show it to members of Study Groups you share it with.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload other people's copyrighted material, exam content you are not allowed to share, or personal information about others without permission. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Study Groups and community rules

You agree not to post or share content that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or discriminates against anyone;
• is sexual, violent, hateful or illegal, or exploits minors in any way;
• is spam, advertising, or deliberately misleading;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.

You are only added to a group after you accept an invite. You can leave any group, report groups, submissions and members, and block other users. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: we review reports, and we remove offending content and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, normally within 24 hours of a report.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access or try to access other users' data or accounts;
• tamper with, overload or disrupt the service, or get around usage limits or plan restrictions;
• use bots or scrapers, or resell or copy the service;
• upload malware or use ScholarMind for any unlawful purpose.

7. Plans and payments

ScholarMind offers a free tier with daily limits and optional paid plans purchased on our website. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice before your next renewal.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ScholarMind is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any grade, exam result or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, UnityBridge Software is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or by email as described on the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and notify you in the app of significant changes. Continuing to use ScholarMind after changes means you accept them.
