Delete your ScholarMind account

Option 1: Delete in the app
- Sign in to ScholarMind (website or mobile app).
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone.
Option 2: Delete by email
If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email support@day1sober.org from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my ScholarMind account". We may ask you to confirm the request. We will delete your account and data within 30 days and reply when it's done.
Email a deletion requestWhat gets deleted
- Your account (name, email, plan and settings).
- Your study materials and notes, and the questions, flashcards and quizzes made from them.
- Quiz attempts, XP, badges, streaks, daily usage records and focus goals.
- Your Study Group submissions and memberships, groups you created (with their submissions and invites), invitations, and blocks you placed.
- Any active ScholarMind subscription is cancelled first, so you won't be charged again.
What may be kept
- Reports you sent are kept without your name or email, so moderation history stays intact.
- Reports and blocks other users placed on your account may be kept to protect the community.
- Payment records held by Stripe, as required for tax and accounting.
- Uploaded files and AI tutor chat history may remain in storage after in-app deletion. Ask us by email and we will remove them too.
Administrator accounts can't be deleted in the app. Administrators should email us.
